I’m Lisa…..a full-time working mum to a very lively 11 year old. Whilst I understand that today’s busy lifestyles can place huge demands on us, I also believe that with the right health and fitness plan in place, you can offset some of these stresses and begin to enjoy a more active approach to life, in a way that works for you and fits in with your schedule.

Living by the motto, ‘Be healthy, Be happy’, I am here to motivate and inspire you towards making choices that allow you to start living the life you desire.
My holistic approach means that I am able to look at you as an individual, but also as a person within your environment. In my experience it is often the external environment, rather than the individual that impacts most significantly on their ability to commit to a new lifestyle.
It is my job to develop an understanding on this level and then to design a suitable training and lifestyle plan around this.
Without going in too deep, my approach gives you the tools you need to tap into your physical and emotional body, another key factor, I believe, in starting to make right choices
For years I only knew how to feel my physical body.
It wasn’t until I found myself in the midst of trauma, going through a marriage break-up and losing my mum to Cancer, that I recognized how important it was for me to be able to feel emotions too.
I could see that by constantly tuning in to my physical body, all I was doing was numbing my emotions, preventing myself from feeling and never really tuning in to what it was I needed.
I pushed for years….harder and harder, until my body began to break. I couldn’t see that alongside the high intensity training, my body was crying out for something else. That something, I soon found, was Yoga. It was then that things started to shift for me.
Today, I use my experience and knowledge to help others find a balance between the pushing and the surrender. When you can find space for both of these things, you’ll be amazed at how much better you feel and much easier it is to achieve your goals.
We may trade a gym session for Yoga when the muscles are sore, we may ditch running for a deep stretch if the body is tired or we may increase our intake of vegetables if the immune system is low.
There are so many right choices you can make…physically, nutritionally and emotionally. Together we can decipher the right choices for you. Then it’s about taking action. I can help you with that too.
When I started to take action, my energy and mood stabilised, I rarely felt tired, my skin glowed and it was rare for me to get sick.

I qualified as a Personal Trainer with Premier Training in 2003 and have continued with my studies since that day. I am a NASM qualified personal trainer and have undergone a host of other, more specialist training programmes including pre/post natal exercise, Pilates and Yoga
I continually update my skills and my knowledge so that I can provide you with the most up-to-date and beneficially proven exercies techniques.
